R. K. Redding Construction Team Wins Numerous Safety Awards

4/10/2013 - R. K. Redding Construction (RKR), a full service, multi-disciplinary construction management and general construction contracting firm, had seven of its supervisors receive the prestigious Ron Amerson Supervisors’ Safety Award from the AGC Georgia, the statewide Chapter of The Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AGC of America) at the 17th annual award ceremony. The Ron Amerson Supervisors' Safety Awards program is designed to recognize AGC of America members' supervisors for outstanding contributions to safety on their jobsites. The measurement criterion is based on safety incidence rates for individual supervisors in conjunction with actual man-hours directly supervised by each employee. Only those supervisors who showed a commitment to outstanding safety are eligible. Construction Firm Directs Its Focus

March 5, 2013 - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Vinings construction executive Randall Redding doesn’t build single-family homes, so his company has weathered the recession better than most. And the 58-year-old owner of R.K. Redding Construction thinks many of his friends in the industry who’ve suffered may have reason to smile again soon. Housing prices are rising, homes are selling and real estate agents are starting to hammer more "for sale" signs into front yards. He sees residential activity as a key economic indicator for his $50 million Bremen-based company, which builds churches, schools, factories, health care structures and government facilities, among other things. Redding, who started out busing dishes in his family's restaurant, has learned to read the tea leaves that are important for his company. WGTC Campus Opening September 2013

12/11/12 - Construction on two buildings whose completion will usher in a new era in Coweta County education is right on schedule. West Georgia Technical College's stand-alone Coweta Campus south of Newnan will open in Sept. 20, 2013. The 38-acre Coweta campus - on Turkey Creek Road near the I-85 Moreland interchange - initially will be home to a 36,000-squarefoot, state-funded building and the 47,000-plus squarefood Newnan Hospital Allied Health Care Building.
